Matthew Macione December 16, 2018 22:28 Updated Connecting to the Tasty App The One Top connects to the One Top app via Bluetooth, allowing it to receive cooking time and temperature instructions. Without the One Top app, you can still control the One Top via the buttons on the front. Download the Tasty app to your mobile device from the iTunes® App Store or Google Play Store. To turn on your Tasty One Top: Plug the cooktop into a 120V socket. You will hear the startup sound and see all 10 LED lights on the front of the One Top flash. Press the + button on the front of the cooktop. Next press the power button on the cooktop to turn it on. To connect to the app: Open the One Top app on your mobile device. Tap the One Top button at the bottom of the screen, then tap the connect button confirming you have a One Top. This will initiate the Bluetooth pairing. The 10th (last) LED light on the front of the One Top will be solid blue when successfully paired. Once paired, your mobile device will connect to Bluetooth by default whenever you open the Tasty app while in range of the One Top. Connecting to a new mobile device To connect a different mobile device, open the Bluetooth settings on the connected mobile device and disconnect it from there. Then connect the new mobile device using the steps above. Note:💡 The Tasty One Top can only be connected over Bluetooth to one mobile device at a time. Connecting to different One Top To connect a different One Top, open the Bluetooth settings on the connected mobile device. Tap the Info (i) symbol next to Tasty One Top, then tap Forget This Device. Connect to the new cooktop using the steps above. If you plan to cook with multiple One Tops at the same time, you can always connect to a second One Top using another mobile device or tablet, or cook in Direct mode. In Direct mode, the Tasty app is optional. You must turn on the cooktop and control power levels via the buttons on the front of the cooktop. Bluetooth connection trouble Tasty One Top uses Bluetooth to connect to the Tasty app. First and foremost, make sure you have downloaded the latest Tasty app from the App store and make sure your mobile device software is up to date. If the One Top is still not connecting to the Tasty app via Bluetooth, reset the Bluetooth connection on the One Top by pressing the - and + buttons simultaneously on the cooktop, then attempt to connect to the One Top again.
