Why can't I connect to my One Top? Tasty One Top uses Bluetooth to connect to the Tasty app. First and foremost, make sure you have downloaded the latest Tasty app from the App store, your mobile device software is up to date and Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. In addition, if you are in a shared household, make sure no other users are already connected to the One Top. If you’re still having trouble pairing with Bluetooth please try the following. Note: The Tasty app is not currently available on Android devices. Reset the One Top To reset One Top disconnect the power cord from the 120V socket then reconnect it to restart the cooktop. Reset the Bluetooth connection If the One Top is not connecting to the Tasty app via Bluetooth, reset the Bluetooth connection on the One Top by pressing the - and + buttons simultaneously on the cooktop until you hear the new connection sound. After the pressing the buttons toggle your Bluetooth connection on your from off and on. By turning off Bluetooth you essentially clear the cached connection to your Tasty One Top. An incorrect cached Bluetooth connection can work as an obstacle in many cases while trying to get your device connected. From your iPhone: Open the Settings app. Tap on Bluetooth. Reinstall Tasty app If you continue to have issues pairing your device you may have to reinstall the Tasty app. By reinstalling the app it will help clear the apps cache and data from your mobile device. To delete the Tasty app: Tap Settings. Tap General. Tap Storage & iCloud Usage. Tap Manage Storage. Tap Tasty app. Tap Delete App. Re-download and reinstall the Tasty app from the App store. Try another mobile device To confirm your mobile device is not the issue with the One Top, please turn Bluetooth off on your phone and attempt your connection with another iOS device (Android not currently supported).
