Here’s a quick guide to help answer your questions. 😉 Who is affected by these changes? All customers who purchased the One Top will be required to move to the new standalone app. We might be a little biased, but we think you will enjoy the new app experience! Where can I download the new app? The app is currently in beta. To install, click the direct link here (US Only). Once the non-beta app is published you can just open the Google Play Store for Android devices and search for “One Top." (iOS to follow later this week). What’s new in the app? 🔥 We took your feedback, and made the new app better than ever! This app was specially designed for controlling the Tasty One Top and will only display recipes made to work with the One Top. In addition, there are great new features including a more intuitive interface, added search functionality, cooking history, audio alerts, push notifications reminders when new One Top recipes are available, the ability to save favorite One Top recipes and a new user onboarding flow! Get it now!!! Where is the complete Tasty app for Android? The Android “One Top” app is specially designed for controlling the One Top. The complete Android Tasty app will be coming later this year -- we're working on it! What mobile devices are supported? The One Top app will work on most current iPhone and Androids devices! Apple devices must be running iOS 10 or later and Android devices must be running Android 4.4 or later. When will these apps be released? 📆 Android on June 26th, 2018 (iOS to follow). How do these standalone app changes affect me? One Top users will no longer be able to use the main Tasty app after August 31st, 2018 to control their One Top. All One Top access will be transitioned to the new standalone One Top apps for iOS and Android on that date. What can I do to prepare for the changes? We strongly recommend downloading the new dedicated app prior to August 31st, 2018. Can I keep using the main Tasty app? Yes and no. All customers who wish to use the One Top will need to shift to our new dedicated app experience. The original Tasty app is not going away and you will still be able to view all your favorite recipes! However, to use the One Top the new app will be required. What happens to my saved recipes? All previously saved recipes will remain in the original Tasty app under the My Recipes tab in the original account you created. The new dedicated One Top app will allow you to create a new account and favorite One Top specific recipes. If you do not wish to create an account, no problem! No account will be required to be used in the new app. Why did Tasty create a new One Top app? ❤️ We are always listening to our Tasty community and we remain dedicated to evolving the One Tops features over time. The release of the new One Top apps is a first step that will allow us to put more of our internal resources toward developing new recipes and providing the best possible One Top experience for everyone.
